I have this old vintage mandolin and would appreciate any information regarding who made it, value or collector interest. All I know about it is that it was brought to to the U.S. in early 1900's from Germany.161192161193161194161192161193

It was made in Chicago, Illinois by the Regal company. It is what is called a Regal Reverse Scroll model. This one wasn't real ornate. You can buy one in good condition on eBay weekly for no more than a few hundred dollars. Yours appears to be missing the tailpiece and the bridge.

Frank Kordick, the president of Regal patented this deign in September of 1914. They made this model up into the late 30's perhaps early 40's.
