I was just at faces of the guitar last night in Portland Oregon http://www.pdxguitarsociety.org/faces-of-the-guitar.html and wow! I mostly came because Tim Connell and Eric Skye were and there and they stole the show for sure.
I must say Tim was shorter than I imagined:)) and his mandolin was a lot more beat up since last time I saw him(YouTube)
But the sound that comes out of that Paul LeStock/Arrow mandolin is incredible, it's not a bluegrass mandolin but it sounds like heaven:mandosmiley:
Who else was there? I know at least one other cafe member was there because someone was wearing mandolin cafe ball cap.
