It's every full moon Friday (as in tonight, June 24th) at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.

It's 15-20 dollars to get in but I've been told pickers get in free.

Anybody on here ever been and can tell the rest of us what it's like?

I have heard a few stories about that event. (some wilder than others!) Does it still exist?

You may have heard about the original which was on someone's farm out in Hickman County.

It's now a benefit for Warner Parks and is at Percy Warner.

I haven't been to either place.

I was at Edwin Warner Park this past weekend and saw a banner for this event. Here is what I found out:

Full Moon Pickin’ Party Families can enjoy bluegrass music from various bands and jam with their own stringed instruments to benefit the Friends of Warner Park at the Steeplechase Barn, Percy Warner Park, 2500 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville; 7 - 11 p.m.; $15 in advanced $20 at door for adults, $10 ages 7 - 15 (ages 6 and younger free), pickers are free with a suggested $5 donation; 370-8053.

This is starting up again this year....I went to a few last year and it was fairly good.
Worth $5 anyway! First one is this Friday night May 19, 2006
