Does anyone know if this book from Mike Marshall has the mandocello accompaniment to the "Partita II Dm Gigue" which he and Thile play on "Live Duets?"
I'm not sure from the description if it is only solo mandolin or not.

only solo mandolin. Also the disappointing things are as follows. 1. No fingering suggestions or comments at all from Mike. 2. None of them are complete, just excerpts

Some years back, Mike was in a live chat here on the Cafe. I asked him about the mandocello part he used on the Gigue in the recording with Caterina on YouTube. He sent me this, which is a little rough, but pretty easy to figure out nonetheless, if you have a recording. I've not heard him play it with Thile, but I assume it's the same, or similar.

Thanks, bratsche for posting MM's arrangement. I think it works quite well. JSB would be pleased (I think).

Here's another arrangement for duet with guitar (Marissa Carroll and Joel Woods).
