I've been thinking of upgrading my rosewood bridge to an ebony bridge on my Washburn F-style. Looking at the Elderly catalogue, I see there are four different choices:
"Vintage-style" ebony bridge, $45
Adjustable ebony bridge, $21.85
Cumberland acoustic bridge, $40 (not clear what the wood is)
Brekke bridge, $60
I know about the Brekke bridge, but the other three all look much the same on the photographs, except for slightly differently sized wheels. Does anybody know the difference between the "vintage-style" bridge and the generic ebony bridge? Is it justified that one is twice as expensive as the other (same wood, seems to be the same design)? How do the Cumberland bridges fit in?
