Hey, Is there a place that has a Collins custom truss rod cover I can order? I want to get a pearloid with my name on it...you know the deal, thanks, dy.

..yes he does....very nice work....I opted for FQ...cuz..they had a pic in a catalogue with the font that they offered....you could actually envision what it would look like....plus..I had seen others of this style so I knew what I was after...

Just be sure you are familiar with the material you are ordering. Beware of what he calls Abalam. Very cheesy looking. Unfortunately, had mine engraved so couldn't be returned. A waste of $.

Ablam is an abalone laminate made up of thin sheets of abalone bonded together to a useable thickness. It's often highly figured and very colorful, and may be too busy a background for engraving. It can be nice in small doses, though, like for purfling, and costs considerably less than solid, highly-colored abalone.
