...another thread got me thinking about this one...whats the tonal qualities of MOP compared to bone, Faux bone and all the others?...thanks!

I made myself a MOP nut once, and it looked great, but I had trouble with it chipping while filing the edges. You have to be more careful in filing and sanding. As it ended up, it had a little bit of a brighter tone, which was not what I was looking for, so I went back to bone.
