I'm looking for a good quality A and this popped up locally. I'm interested in it's value and origins.

TIA

Wow - just noticed this is my first post. I've been a lurker...

Anyway, Looks like it's 1996 vintage from what I can ascertain. I think this means it was made in the Belgrade factory in Montana under the supervision of Bruce Weber? I can't tell what model it is though.

Interesting. Can't read the second signature, but the first signature last name appears to be Beausoleil which translates to Beautiful Sun. All I can see is its an A-5. Any other photos?

Here is a mention of the lady in the first signature. From the Bridger Products Web site. http://www.bridgerproducts.com/about__design_consulting/weber_designs

You might want to take a look at this (https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?31080-Flatiron-a5-signed-by-helen-beausoliel) thread. Helen and Neal signed this one too.

There's actually a picture of the label for this same mandolin this thread.

I might add that Beausoleil is a wonderful Cajun Band. http://www.beausoleilmusic.com/
Saw these guys years back at a Louisiana Music Festival in Maryland. Back when the wife and I could dance until the sun came up. And we did. :))
Great performance.

Helen is a great lady. I spoke with every time I was in the old Weber shop. I had her adjust the shape of the neck on my old Vintage A, she made feel very comfortable. She once showed me the guitar she built for herself. It had all the bells and whistles.

Well she's mine now. Met with fellow Mando Cafe member Frank Donnoli this morning in Starbucks for a trade and now its raining so all I can do is sit and play!
