Here is one of my electric mandolins. I really did this one up from an idea I was eating at me for awhile. You can see it (and try it out) as part of my display at the NAMM show in Indianapolis this summer.

I suspect you need a custom case similar to the attached image.
That is wild... I like it!
It looks like it might want to sneak around and bite your a** while you're aggravating its strings.
