Hi, that's me. I use both acoustic and electric mandolins that I make myself in several of my songs on the new CD I just released. They mix quite well with other acoustic and electric guitars in rock style music.

I probably should mention that my songs cover a variety of styles from driving rock to acoustic ballads, to even some bluegrassy stuff. The clips on the site give a pretty good representation. On the song that is a little more rockin' I use the electric mandolin for the solos but unless you are listening for it it sounds like a distorted guitar.
