I have a mandolin acoustic electro with a micro magnetic.
I have the habit of buy D'addario.
I hesitate between the different models:
- J67: steel and nickel
- J62: steel and bronze
- I73: steel , phosphorus and bronze
What alloy is best suited for a Magnetic Micro?

Phosphor bronze or any bronze strings only pick up the core. The steel and nickel would work. GHS has pure nickel set that will also work. They also have a white bronze guitar string that you would have to take the ball ends off, but will work too. I used to use these, but have switched to the pure nickel, a great string, on my mandolin. They sound great acoustically too.
