Varnish Collings MT-2?

Hey, anyone have info on how that Varnish MT-2 sounds at Acoustic Music Works? I was going to call up there today and have someone play it over the phone, yet they are closed on Mondays....thanks, dy.

I haven't played that one, but I have the one that was completed just before the one at Acoustic and mine's's a whopper. #Much different than any of the other two MT2's I owned. #More punch and bass and the A and E strings are really strong from the get go. #I wish Collings would put Waverly's on these rascals.

Cool info, how's the Bluegrass Tone of the Varnish MT-2?

I haven't played that one, but I recently acquired an MT-2V on the cafe classifieds and it is a fantastic mandolin with great tone and playability.
