Stephen Warbeck: Pelagia's Song (from "Captain Corelli's Mandolin")

This is my instrumental arrangement of the theme from the movie "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". The mandolin version in the movie is played in a very stripped down manner -- not least so that Nicolas Cage can actually play it -- and I have tried to match that mood rather than replicate the more lush orchestral theme.

I have used an "Easy Piano" transcription as my starting point, from Musicnotes.com:

I've played the treble melody on mandolin and the bass line on mandocello. To make it a bit fuller, I've added semi-improvised tremolo harmony on second mandolin and tenor guitar chords.

1915 Luigi Embergher mandolin
1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
Suzuki MC-815 mandocello
Vintage Viaten tenor guitar

Thank you, Martin, it is a very nice arrangement of a lovely tune. I've thought about transcribing this one as well, thanks for the easy piano link.
