Hi friends,

Very first post on mandolin cafe. I've lurked on the classifieds for several years but haven't found the right thing. My buddy and I recorded something on two of my vintage Larsons about a month ago and wanted to share. One is a c1939 Euphonon and the other is a 1934 prairie state. The recording is a Leo Kottke thing that he overdubbed on the original recording. We came up with a loose interpretation. Hope you enjoy these rare guitars. I've seen maybe a dozen 17" Larsons in my days and a good number of 000 prairie states. I also have a Larson mandolin but my chops lie on mandocello. Feel free to write any time.

I know he overdubbed it on Mudlark, the one on My feet are smiling I'm not so sure about. Nice video.

MFAS absolutely not. Mudlark yes. I recorded a solo version that is as he plays in the former

That is excellent. I wonder if that tune - Stealing - is the inspiration for this......

I think I can hear 'elements' of it in there ?
I must ask.....
