Anyone here who knows anything more about this specific mandolin please do let me know. I bought it used in 2012 from the mandolin store. It's from the year 2004 I believe. Thanks!

Year made: 2004, March 3rd, second mandolin in production...I think Danny Roberts was overseeing mandolin production at that point...Big Joe Vest could give you more insight. They had a production methodology by this time that yielded consistently good results..btw: love your Monroe Style playing!

Yes, Charlie was running OAI and I think got bumped up to even more managerial responsibilities, but as of 2004 I think Danny Roberts was more hands on with overseeing mandolin production...ask Big Joe, he would know.
