Anyone catch the eagles last night on NBC? I've seen them twice live in 76 and 94. After all these years they can still pick and sing. that harmony still gives me goose bumps. Don

I was hopeing they would sing 7 Bridges Road.

Thats my all-time favorite from them. Although I'm not much on the 'electric' stuff, they got it going on.

Saw them as they kicked off the American leg of the concert tour...right here in Charleston SC. They were fantastic...played for almost 3 hours. It was well worth the $125.

I saw them back on the Hotel California tour, with Buffett opening. Cost: $13.30...amzing what has happened to ticket prices...

Absolutely incredible concert .. and Joe Walsh is still crazy (after all these years). The one part of the interview with Glenn Frey and the Drummer (name?)- was when they were talking about the pre concert "Circle of Fear" where they have 8 chairs in a circle and practice the vocal harmonies with only one acoustic guitar.

After thirty years of playing together - they still scare the pants off of each other prior to every concert. Their music might not be to everyone's liking but - they can really sing - 'cause they listen to each other. I would like to get the lyrics to the new recovery song which Glenn and Joe sang ... poignant words over a simple melody but powerful?

Uh huh ...

There's a lot to be learned from this old group.

I have always liked there harmony. Thats what attracted me to them.

I told my wife that all four are great singers but I have to say that the weakest link is Timothy B. Not that he isn't good, he just doesn't hold anything to Don, Glenn, or Joe.

I just wish they had sung 7 Bridges.

And whats even more is the song that (I assume) Don wrote post-911. MAN, that was really a beautiful song.

I'm not the biggest Dolly Parton fan in the world, but I just woke up to her doing a version of "Seven Bridges Road" on the digital cable bluegrass channel, and it's a really nice version. She sang it with Sonya Isaacs and it's on her Little Sparrow album, according to the tv. I'm with you though, that's probably my favorite Eagles song, I remember always thinking it was too short http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
