I have a potential buyer for a lute in Greece. I got shipping quotes from a couple of companies, fed ex $4500 $ Purolator $1150 ups $4800. I was stunned. Does any one out there have experience with European shipping and is there any one who does this at a decent rate? Or maybe it's just not going to happen. Help

I think it's too big for usps, but I could try. I am in Canada so I'd have to drive to Maine to ship.

Do you have DHL? they used to have decent rates from Europe to the US.

DHL usually takes longer than UPS, but is way cheaper.

For less than those prices, you could hire someone to bring it over or fly over yourself and have a nice vacation, I would think.
