Had the pleasure of seeing a terrific band at the weekend - Ragged Union from Colorado. A mix of traditional bluegrass and some bluesy songs, with a FANTASTIC mandolin player called Jordan Ramsey.
He recently won the Walnut Valley Festival 1st prize for mandolin, and won a specially made Ellis F5! Got to chat with him after the gig - really nice guy and he was even gracious enough to let me have a quick play on his Ellis! Gorgeous instrument and a great player!
