Hi Y'all,
Anybody know of a "fiddle cafe" on the net? I've been playing a lot of fiddle lately and was hoping somebody here would know where to go!

Thanks, mmm

I know of two good fiddle forums. One is quite classical-oriented even though it's actually called the fiddle forum and there are some bluegrassers there, I prefer the other one that's called Fiddle Fork. Try Fiddle Forum (http://www.fiddleforum.com) and Fiddle Fork (http://www.fiddlefork.com). Even if I prefer the last one, I don't want to say the first one isn't good. Both are full of experienced fiddle players who can answer questions.

Are there any sites with tabs of people like Andy Leftwich, Jim Van Cleve, etc. I'm not a big fiddle player, so I don't know how to tab them very good yet.

Thanks for the tips, guys!

BTW in the past I stumbled upon the "fiddle guru" site and downloaded some tabs. Worst I've ever seen! The melodies were just plain wrong, not just odd versions.

Maestronet and Fiddle Forum are both good'uns!

Thanks again, mmm
