Hi, found this mandolin in our storage. Says made in Japan, but has no serial - so it has been difficult finding information.
Can anyone identify it, give some info, maybe a value range, so I can work out what to do with it.

Appreciated.

Probably from the 1980s, probably a decent beginner mandolin. Value probably around 250.00 if the neck is straight and if it needs no work. Someone else may know more and say something different. It's a nice piece, though.

Very basic model and not particulary valuable though appears to be in good nick. If the top is solid i'd say $200-$300. If laminate $150 at best.

It looks like a 70's 511 probably late maybe 76 i don't have any of my records with me. The logo is smaller i think earlier and bigger in the 80's i would have to compare it to my 511 which is late 70's i think. I have watched alot of them on eBay and bought some other models but they usually don't go much over $100 unless it's a two pointer or a F style
