Just discovered a great internet radio station: BorderRadio.com. Out of Austin and modeled after the great border stations that broadcasted from Mexico to avoid fcc regulations. Great mix of bluegrass, country, rockabilly, tex-mex, rock and roll, americana, etc.


Also check out:

radioparadise.com Eclectic mix w/ a lot of new bands.

bondifm Cool station broadcasting from Down Under's famous Bondi Beach.

Any other recommendations?

I can't get the station to play. If I try to download the recommended player, I get a javascript error. It offers me the choice of another player, but that doesn't work either. I hate that. Why the heck can't they let you hear it with real or windows media?

when I first tried it wanted me to download the live365 player but I somehow bypassed that and now it runs through my media player. can't remember what I did exactly - when i bring it up now it goes right to the player and plays. Keep trying. Try just hitting cancel when it prompts you to download the live365 player. good luck
