Mandolin Maker?

Local mandolin for sale. Any thoughts on the manufacturer? Ad states it can't be found on instrument. The headstock color appears to be a unique lighter color.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but the case upholstery makes me believe it is also a DIY, at least the intererior looks it.

You say local but local to where? That might gives us more a clue to where this was made, esp if it was not far from there (wherever "there" is).

I assume that since the OP's name has Buckeye in it that he/she is from Ohio and that the maker would be also?
