Stoney Lonesome

Any one got the tuning Dolye Lawson uses on Stoney Lonesome? Is it just on the D,A, & E strings?

I wrote/emailed to Doyle a while back; he was travelling & couldn't answer the question as to the tuning.
Monroe does not cross-tune the mandolin on the original recording, BTW.

I knew Monroe didn't and the last time I saw Doyle he did not cross tune it either but I like the way he did it with Tony Rice and Bobby Hicks on the The Bluegrass Album Band instrumental .

I have THAT tune on a Tony Rice CD - DL is the mando player ; he does THAT de-tuned thing also. Excellent tune ; love the chord changes.
