While searching the Internet looking at mandolins for sale I seen an ad for a Flatiron F-2, it was priced at $550 at the last bid....I am sure that Flatirons are not made in the US any more but have the Asian Flatiron Festivals changed the name to an F-2...Anyone have any info on this...

I am not interested in the mandolin but it just struck me funny that it was called an F-2, the picture of it showed that it had the ff holes and not the normal oval hole that F-2`s are usually shown with...

It was on E Bay

Yup....Chinese made Flatirons changed the designation to an F-2 I believe..

Thanks Mike....I must be really getting old because I did not remember posting those comments, I do now after I have read them...probably did it when I wasn`t awake yet or should have been in bed...
