A good friend of mine's son recently directed a documentary about using sustainable woods in musical instruments, and the folks who are trying to responsibly manage deforestation and illegal wood theft in Guatemala. It's called "Instruments of Change: Lessons from the Rainforest." Members of Guster and Maroon 5 accompanied them on their trip. It's pretty interesting, definitely worth a view, especially to see how crafty some of the thieves are, just like drug smugglers. It's on YouTube. Frank.
