There are two blem Mandobirds on Ebay right now that might go for cheap:
Gold Sparkle Mandobird (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33037&item=7322210765&rd=1)
Seafoam Green Mandobird (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33037&item=7322211796&rd=1)

Also a Fender Mandocaster and an overpriced EM-200.

There are actually TWO EM200s right now. Can't recall seeing THAT before.

Overpriced (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=7321092223&rd=1)
Not so overpriced (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=359&item=7321985143&rd=1)

Three (count 'em) Godins (http://search.ebay.com/mando-godin_W0QQfromZR40QQsatitleZmandoQ2aQ20godinQQsojs Z1)

This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=7321572273&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) is weird. If it's handcrafted, why does the fretboard look exactly like it came off a Washburn? And why do the F-holes look like they were punched out by a machine? And if it's such a great instrument, why will it "not be duplicated"?

Yet another EM200 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=7322811741&rd=1)...

Gene Dobbs seems to have answered the other questions pretty thoroughly. If this is his #3 he's doing very clean work. Almost too clean.

I think I'd ask Gibson about that EM200 with no serial number. The Ebay add suggests it was before serial numbers. Wonder if it's a second, or something cobbled together?

Man, I am kicking myself for missing out on this one.

How would one go about asking Gibson?

The finish around where the serial number would be on the back of the headstock looks a little different.

I sent Joe Vest an email and he responded in less then 10 minutes (wow!). I don't think this is necessarily an instrument he would have that much knowledge about, but he said it should have a serial number on it somewhere.
