Wow! I just found this site for zillions of great chords for mandolin!

http://chordlist.brian-amberg.de/en/mandolin/standard/Dbm/ra.html

I have 3 chord books, and NONE of them has some of the chords here. I'm so happy that I found a decent, easy to play C#/Db minor chord here.

It is easy to use too. I love it. Thanks.

Another way is to draw a fretboard with say ten courses, tuned at FCGDAEB... etc, draw in say Aminor and learn the shape of the chord line as it crosses multiple strings, along with the roots. That way you'd only have to know where, for example, C# is. I like this chordlist -an improvement could be to include a 'sort by root' search. That way you could input the key that you're interested in, and have the closest related chords come out first. 145 etc.
Then other relationships later, like a physical or route mind map -but I imagine at the end of the day you'd want your fingers to move like that automatically, with small intellectual inputs like mode or key change in a Chris Thile fashion. I'm not sure if this makes sense, it's a bit early in the morning. :)
