I have a friend that is wanting to sell his buckeye mandolin. I was wondering on what if a fair price for both of us? I have tried looking up with other have cost used, but I can't find any comparisons.

One was listed at Carters for $5,500 and sold last month. There were two listed in the classifieds over the past few months in the mid 4k range. I sold one a year or so ago for $4,700.

Get it! They're amazing- mine cured MAS once and for all. I've had a lot of pros play it (Tim O'Brien, Mike Marshall, Sierra Hull, Skip Gorman who didn't want to give it back, Jenny Lynn Gardener, etc.) and they all give a huge thumbs up.
