This is a Danish folk tune, in an arrangement by Robin Garside:

I suspect that the Danish name is different, but I don't know it. However, "Rumbling" describes the character of the tune rather well. Also recorded by the Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser.

The quadrille used to be a very popular dance all over Europe and North America in the 18th/19th century, but for some reason appears to have survived as a folk dance mainly in Denmark.

Played as a mandolin quartet (two mandolins, tenor guitar and mandocello).

Mid-Missouri M-0W mandolin
1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
Vintage Viaten tenor guitar
Suzuki MC-815 mandocello
