I just created a pretty stout Masters of Mandolin playlist (https://open.spotify.com/user/1244355997/playlist/4n6j8Cl4ZJIPkzzJ2FCjis) on Spotify... Currently we're at nearly 1600 songs, 100 hours. Ha! It's meant to be a study of the "greats".

Grisman, Thile, Monroe, Burns, Apollon, Steffey, Lichtenberg, Marshall, Flinner, Oberlin, Benson and Bibey, Avital, Statman, Frank Wakefield and Red Allen.

Thanks for this, a great resource. Can we make suggestions? Marla Fibish, Morning Star and Michael Kerry, The Rocky Road would boost the Celtic genre. Two great players at the top of their game within their genre, both with fabulous old Gibson oval hole tone.
