Hi

is this Mandolin (which is for sale in the UK) Mid forties rather than mid 30's as they say ?

I had a '46 Gibson with the same logo.

Also, that's neck looks round which seems odd for 30's. I'm looking for a V neck.

Thanks

It's sold. I believe that to be a 30's mandolin, the tuners had been changed.

have had a later A40, & now an A 50 (luthier modified 4 string EM150-ish).

Looked nice, shame about the tuners. Ambitious BIN though, wonder what it actually sold for.

Gibson made the wide-body A-50 from 1937-1942
