Bela Fleck-Drive

Ive been listening to Bela Flecks album Drive quite a bit recently, and ive been stuck on a few tunes. In particular the song The Open Road. I believe that its mostly in G, with B part that goes to the IV and III, but thats about it. I could even be wrong on that.

Does anyone out there know this tune?
Any pointers for the Intro/ Melody would be much appreciated!
