I heard today's program in the car:http://performancetoday.publicradio.org

Didn't know that he was such a classical music nut. There was some tasty stuff he selected for listening. Also a lovely live performance of Bach Partita in E, and a Punch Brothers version of a Debussy piece, from Prarie Home Companion.

Thanks Bill for the link.
That Debussy was just amazing. Banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass sharing phrases from Debussy, who would have thought? But the Punch Bros. really caught something special there. The orchestration of a bluegrass line up seems very comfortable to my ears. The beautiful sounds from each seem to really be captured in this recording and now it seems like a violin chamber group doesn't sound right. (Well, maybe very different.)
Chris is making a good case for classical music on these instruments. I already love the sound. Sure would like to hear more.
