Hey all, I'm curious if any of you can recommend a good bluegrass group with a tin whistle player in their regular lineup.. I heard one or two bluegrass songs in my life like that, just loved it, never got the names though.
Other favorite is steel guitar, like the Osbourne Brothers do sometimes. Wow! Any others doing steel guitar in their bluegrass?

i think railroad earth does, but it could be a penny whistle.. the multi-instrument guy plays the pennywhistle, sax, banjo, mandolin, guitar.. and whatever he gets his hands on i think

Canadian Mandoliner David Wilkie did a project he called "Cowboy Ceilidh" in which he recorded some to the repertoire common to both cultures with a number of irish musicians in Dublin. There's some good flute and whistle on that

Steel player Doug Jernigan sometimes plays Bluegrass. He is a great musician.
