That's a beautifully constructed mandolin,everything looks as clean as a whistle.The colour ?.What do you call that ''Smokey Gold'' ?. Whatever,i love it - glorious work !,

If it sounds anywhere near as good as it looks (& I know the two aren't really connected--other than perhaps an appearance of quality that is true) then it must sound great...

Thanks, it's just a little honey amber dye around the natural blond center and then outlined with black, after the tru oil applied, the black kinda has a greenish hue(I think). Lol

Clinton - For me,that's one of the nicest bits of 'shading' i've seen on here. It's totally the same all the way around. One tad of a shade difference would have stuck out like a sore thumb - brilliant !,

Can't argue with that mandolin, but be sure you don't call that finish antigua or you may have some lawsuit trouble, tee-hee.
