In route to N Ireland, our teardrop mandolin w/Celtic knot work by Astrid. Sitka over Walnut, Ebony fingerboard, headstock overlay, and adjustable bridge. Wide neck
1 5/16" at the nut.

Untouchable and cool perfection, with a distinct Elvish angle. A wide fretboard is always a good idea.
One thing, though - if I may speak my mind - the minimalistic tailpiece would make a more balanced counterpoint with bridge and fretboard if it had a small ebony cover to take away the metallic nakedness. But that's just my perception.

I have this same model Triplett (Irish 30-wire) but mine has just a simple "cross" design...I so love the appearance of this one pictured
