Has anyone played or own a Nolte mando? They look beautiful- how do they sound?

I assume you are speaking of Jerry Nolte (Evergreen Instruments). I briefly owned an A5 model of his that Ken Cartwright aka mandomedic had ordered for himself. Very well made flame maple back/sides, beautiful woods,full sounding. I traded it back to Ken for another varnish A5 by another maker that had caught my eye. Ken still has that instrument if you are interested. Last I checked it still had silver waverly tuners on it. Ken is in the process of liquidating his store inventory..so good time to talk to him.

Jerry makes a very fine instrument. The sound great and easy on the left hand. If Ken still has one, jump now!!!!!
