"Rose of Tralee" is a nice Irish song, that you'll find predominantly in vocal versions. But I found a version for two classical guitars by Konrad Ragossnig and played the melody on my mando. I played it as a slow waltz with 70 bpm and tried to count out the tremolo by playing 4 up-and downstrokes per beat. As an exercise, this worked out fine, but when I recorded it, I just tremoloed by feel.;)
Here's the sheet music and tab(I played it an octave higher)http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/scottish-guitar-tab/png/the_rose_of_tralee.png&imgrefurl=http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/scottish-guitar-tab/the_rose_of_tralee.htm&h=2264&w=2064&tbnid=ZPEmC-h1fTjWtM:&zoom=1&tbnh=90&tbnw=82&usg=__97pL2K9ynVJAD4OrN6_PFa4o2w0=&docid=H90asBbxUQ9DkM&sa=X&ei=ddkHVbSiAsf5PPjtgbAM&ved=0CCkQ9QEwAg
And here's my version

I think I still have to work on my tremolo, but with this song, it's at least some fun
