Here are a few tunes we did as a pick up band a couple of weeks ago. I am playing my recently acquired Elkhorn and really liking it. The guitar picker is former Az and Tennesse State Flatpick Champion Greg Morton. The way that Greg and Tim play leads I don't feel the need to take a break on every tune and can concentrate more on rhythm. Hope you enjoy it. Jim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJeaLtVUq2s

Very cool, the Elkhorn sounds great! What serial number is your Elkhorn?

Trey, The mando is #20. It is my first F model. It has a really pleasant tone that pops. If I had thought I might be posting a clip I surely would have taken the time to tune it before Deep Water.

Hey Jim, The Elkhorn sounds great. What kind of pick-up are you using?

Mike, Thanks for the good words. It really was a fun night. The pick-up is actually a mini condenser mic from Bartlett Audio. http://www.bartlettaudio.com/collections/instrument-mics/products/mandolin-mic Just plug it in and pick. I like the simplicity. There have been a couple of discussions about them in the forum.
