anyone buy one of these lately?

i have a person wanting to buy one i removed from a new FS5 with ivoroid binding and i don't have a clue as to what a fair value is.

Daryl - It depends a lot on what it's made from. A new Ebony 'bound' pick guard from a 'well know' mandolin store is $130. CA make an Ebony one for $140. Hill Country String Works offer a real Ebony one for $45,which i reckon would be a fair price to ask for yours.
The pick guard on my Ellis "A" style is an Ebony 'look alike',but i'd bet a new one would cost a bit more than $45,

I think it would be worth a lot more saved than sold. If you sold the NF down the line it would be a big plus to folks that prefer them.
