I have nice wild grain sugar maple backs (one piece) and tops, and some extra red maple. Various tops. These are mandolin size and don't fit my new plan for violinmaking.
The fancy sugar maple has been curing for years in my shop.
Any ideas? Density is about .75 g/cc on sugar maple, and I'm limiting myself to .65 for fiddle backs and .60 for classical backs.
Thanks
