Found a good Bill Monroe Song/Tune book.

I'm not sure how long it's been out but I recently found a good Bill Monroe book of tunes and songs "Play Like A Legend, Bill Monroe Tunes & Songs For Mandolin." It's by Joe Carr. Lots of great songs/tunes like Brakeman's Blues, Kentucky Mandolin and so on and also some tips on how he played.
Good book/cd for anyone interested in Bill Monroe style playing.

Took me a while to find the song list listed. Not much in the description. (I see it has dusty miller) Wish amazon would do a 'look inside' on this on. Is it in tab and notation?

Yeah, I hate that. Hard to tell sometimes if it's going to be a helpful book or another a waste.

Tab and notation. The cd plays all the songs/tunes and examples at a slow speed. Arpeggios and examples of how he used them, fiddle tune phrases, gospel turnarounds. Hopefully that's a better description for anybody interested.
