I was just wanting to see some of the different Rigels out there. I've got a semi-custom brewing, and I've got options on my mind.

So far they've been such a cool company to deal with, I just wanted to see some of the insturments others have come away with.

So post away!

These 2 are not mine but belong to Mike Orlando.
Mike commissioned the print about 2 years ago, as I recall these 2 Rigels were real nice, only got to photograph them though, never did get a chance to pick one !

Love those Rigels. World class craftsmanship, and very easy to finger...

I don't know how to post pictures, but one of our fellow members posted some picture of my new A+ deluxe under the thread "Mike's new toys."

I love my new Rigel. It's not only the best instrument I own (I have between 45 and 50, including between 25 and 30 guitars) but it's the best instrument I've EVER owned.

Ok, I'll play. Here's my G-110, a very satisfying instrument.

Nice pic and very asthetically pleasing!

I love the way the picguard follows the body contour.

Very nice indeed. Thanks for playing.

Not at all. Please feel free to post the other 2 if you wish.

I like the purple to blueburst G 110 just above it. If I'd know I could have gotten that color I would have.

Stillpickin,

That is a gorgeous print of Mike Orlando's mandos! #Mike sold me the black one, and I can say that it is beautiful to look at, play, and hear.

I asked Mike about the warrior inlay, and he said it matches his tattoo. #Cool!

Wando,

Thanks for the compliment on the print it was nice of Mike O. to trust me with his mandolins, even for the short time that I photographed them. The black Rigel was my favorite of the 2 glad to know a cafe picker has it.

Here's a picture of the latest CT-110 I delivered. This customer, demonstrating incredibly good taste in colors, ordered a Blue-burst, but notice the delicious Bird's Eye Maple back:

She also "one-upped" me and introduced me to a new mandolin "affliction," B.I.A.S. (Block Inlay Acquistion Syndrome)...

Here is a Jethro that I originally intended on selling. However, once I played it I realized that it would be staying with me. I have had many Rigels come thru G5s, CT110s, G110s, A+ Deluxes, A+ Standard and all have sounded and played great. The Jethro spoke to me. It works for Bluegrass, folk, rock, Texas Swing, etc. What a great instrument!!

The only Rigel that really speaks to me is their G5.I am a traditionalist as far as eye appeal.Recently I had the pleasure of playing a tobacco burst G5 and it was B-aad to the bone and the easiest playing mandolin I have picked.Wish I could afford one. Lp

Good color, Dan.

It was nice meeting you at First Quality last week.

Hey Paula!! I was very pleased to meet you as well. Its nice to put a face to a "handle".

I'm hoping to get some pictures up soon. I haven't been able to put this thing down. Had rehearsal with my band last night and every0ne had to play it. . . its altogether very snazzy. The tone is good for a frechly made mandolin but I can't wait to hear this thing with some age and playing on it.

I'm sure I'll get a chance to show it to you sometime.

It was great seeing you at FQMS. Think about coming out to the BBC on Wednesday for a BA jam! (in case you haven't yet) Its a very nice group of folks and a lot of fun.

my best!
Dan
