The Waybacks' version

I'm listening to some random tunes, and Last Date from The Waybacks "Burger After Church" is on. That is a cool song, and probably my favorite version of it of all. I've always liked the song since I was a kid and my mom had a Floyd Cramer album. I picked out a fingerstyle version several years ago on guitar that's fun to play and nice sounding, but the guitar/mando/bass version that The Waybacks do is awesome. It's one of those songs that needs to be about 30 minutes long.

I like the Waybacks too.
I guess it's the producer, whoever mixes their recordings puts the bass up in the mix where I can hear it.

Jimmy Gaudreau had a nice version of Last Date on an lp back in the 80's.
