Otis Morris

Has anyone heard of Otis Morris, mandolin maker -- possibly from the Stephenson, Alabama area? A friend of mine has come across one of his mandolins, and would like more information. From what he may know, Mr. Morris is no longer living, but probably made quite a few instruments. From the quality of his workmanship, it appears he was a luthier of sorts.
