While were at IBMA, this past September, I delivered a new Pacifica mandolin to a tremendous young player, Nate Burie.

His sister, Bethany, not only is a talented guitar player (and singer), but also a fine photographer too. So, what a treat to have Bethany turn her artistic eye to Nate's new mandolin.

I feel so lucky to have met these talented young players and can't wait to hear the music that they will create with their siblings, Joe and Rebekah, and the Burie Family band

Here is a video from their current Kickstarter project for the next CD --

Just took a closer look at this full back shot of Nate Burie's Pacifica -- Wow, Bethany has an amazing eye for creating powerful images!

She also did some really cool close-up shots with shallow depth of field --

Incredible work Steve. The combination of woods with the T/shell binding is as rich looking as can be.The whole instrument just oozes quality. That ones'a a 'Wow' from me,

Thanks ! ! ! Sure has been fun getting to know The Burie Family. As you can see, there's a lot of talent in the family. I'm really proud and delighted to have Nate playing this Pacifica. It's a cool bonus that these pictures by Bethany are consistently the most eye-grabbing of the shots I've got of recent builds.

Please stop this! No more backs like that, it's making me feel inferior!

OK go on, I relent, more back shots please ;)

A big wide pattern that just rolls and roils. Man, I love working with these beautiful woods!

Nate Burie is clearly maturing as a player with his Pacifica!
