This#Dr. Z Therapy#Amp Head#is a significant departure from#classic Zs -#in a lot of truly incredible ways, too. What you get#is the combination of a cathode biased 6L6-based amp and a low-powered tweed Twin amp, a roundabout way of saying "totally awesome."#Powered by dual 6L6 power tubes, dual 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 5AR4 rectifier, it dishes out 35 watts of power with 4, 8, and 16 ohm output#options. Additionally, it has a post-phase inverter Master Volume control specifically designed to#not to lose any top-end at lower volume settings. With this, it's especially good for late night practice settings, but easily loud enough for studio time, full-band practice, and larger gigs.#
With a noticeably woody bass response, the Therapy is a great crossover amp, mixing#vintage tweed-like cleans with the clarity of modern technology and construction.
