Nice interview segment...boy that Loar in Mr. Williamson's hand was loud, loud, loud...in a good way!
Seems also know matter what song he plays, you can hear the "Monroe" style shine through...a good thing IMHO...

Tony and his brother Gary performed a set this afternoon at Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh. If you're in town Monday, they'll be playing with a full band from 8-11 p.m. at the Oxford, located on Fayetteville Street, the same location as the IBMA downtown street festival later in the week. It`s a shame that those young men in Florida that I talked about in a another post couldn`t hear that interview and then they would understand who and what a Loar signed mandolin is, they were in the dark until I tried to explain some things but I didn`t do nearly as good of a job as Mr. Williamson did...
