............it probably is. #Just a head's up on a 1964 Gibson EM-200 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33040&item=7309760760&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) seen on eBay. #The $3.85 shipping cost was the first thing that got me worried. #I'd sworn I'd seen the pictures before. #Compare the pictures and description to this one (http://www.vintagemandolin.com/64gibsonem200florentine_521543.html) for sale from Charles Johnson. #I'm not 'in the chase' for an e-mando at the moment; just thought I'd post this to possibly warn others and get a dialogue started with the seller.

What's with the sub-title stating the $1450 low price?
There's no reserve.
The pictures are defintaly "borrowed".
Seller has a 100% rating with 160 transactions.
All very odd.

The link now points to an invalid item; it looks like eBay has terminated the auction.

There was a note on the original eBay listing asking bidders to email the seller for a special unpublished Buy Now price. Here is part of a message I received from the eBay Trust & Safety folks: #
"Re: 1964 Gibson Florentine / EM-200 Electric Mandolin
We removed this item from the Site ... because it appears that the seller's account has been compromised and used by an unauthorized third party. The seller's privileges to trade on eBay may be temporarily suspended while we investigate this matter further. Due to privacy concerns we will not be able to share further details related to this seller."

Glad to see they pulled to plug!

It sounds like another bogus auction I know of;
3.85 S&H exactly. When I viewed the 'sellers' other items, they were all beauty aids, all with 3.85 S&H.
