Hare on the g string

My 460 mm Tenor Mandola from Andy Tobin - tobininstruments.co.uk - customised from a 510 mm scale to accommodate shoulder surgery. Plays lovely in CGDA but with the short scale can be played in a variety of open tunings, in the manner of Andy Irvine. Seemed like a hare brained scheme, but it sounds beautiful!
